Up and running

Wednesday, November 7th, 2007

Palm Springs Bike Weekend was a great time. The weather was in the mid 90s during the day and dropped down into the 70s at night. It was perfect for cruising around downtown, doing burnouts, and driving the cops nuts. The police are actually great for the most part in

Palm Springs. A lot of them ride and are usually just part of the crowd during the event. I got to see a bunch of familiar faces and enjoyed walking down the long lines of bikes. We launched our website on October 5th to coincide with the American Heat weekend.  It gave us a chance to promote our business and answer a few questions to give people an idea of what we are all about.

Since our launch date we have been hustling trying to get some more of our product out on the market. Our first Hog Bite (downloadable short video) will be out in a week or two followed by or Softail service video. Thank you for all the positive e-mails. We appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm. We will continue to try and kick out the most requested topics in future Hog Bites. If you have any suggestions please post them on this blog.

It seems that the universe has sided against me on my bobber project. My frame was on order for 6 months, my compressor blew out, and my welder stopped working. It did give me plenty of time to decide on what exactly I wanted to build. I just got it all moched up the other day and it looks bitchin! A rigid framed, Shovelhead Springer. I don’t think there can be anything crappier as far as comfort goes but then again I’m not looking for a touring bike. I just need to finish up some mounts and other small pieces and it will be ready to tear down for painting and powder coating.
